Is it just me that completely forgets about the August Bank Holiday every year? What a lovely little surprise it is to get a three day weekend in the sunshine! Until the pressure of doing something super exciting kicks in, an adventure that's going to make a good story on Tuesday morning back in the office. Or is that just me?
I spent my sunny bank holiday in Knutsford, walking around the gorg' gardens at Tatton Park. In the midst of house buying; exchanging contracts, getting plastering quotes and other boring parts of buying a house that no one posts about on social media, a day of fresh air and beautiful views was much needed.
This beauty of a t-shirt was a new purchase for August and I'm loving wearing it in any way I can - who doesn't love a slogan tee and a bit of French? This was until I began to question if outfit repeating is actually acceptable?
In a world where Instagram is like the bible for fashion and style, we are under such pressure to constantly keep up with new trends and to never been seen in the same item twice.
This is simply not realistic for a lot of people - so if I want to wear my favourite t-shirt, with my favourite jeans, to make my new favourite outfit combination for a fab day out, I will! I mean, doesn't everyone have a favourite go-to look that they feel comfortable in, and that makes them feel great?
So this is my current favourite weekend activity look - an unoriginal t-shirt, mom style jeans and a pair of espadrille-esque wedges. And I'll probably wear it again.
