This is a post I've been trying to write for a couple of weeks now - I've been so excited to talk about my day at the British Style Collective event, but life keeps getting in the way as it does, so it has taken me a little longer than planned. I'm about to become a home owner for the first time, so I'm sure you can forgive me!

You may have seen me (repeatedly) tweeting about the British Style Collective, which was presented by the Clothes Show Live for 3 days, across the beautiful city of Liverpool; it was a fashion festival of sorts with various events and activities to inspire all from St. George's Hall, to Liverpool One, through to Albert Dock and the Echo Arena.

First stop of the day was St. George's Hall where there were some really interesting seminars on blogging, and talks given throughout the day by a mix of celebrities. The absolute style icon Molly King's talk was a definite winner!

There were also some super inspiring runway shows in the Great Hall featuring collections from designers such as Edeline Lee and Philip Armstrong. Whilst Edeline Lee's collection was all about the "Future Woman", where athleisure fabrics were combined with crystals, Philip Armstrong's runway show was all about the glitz and glam.
Dresses with capes, power suits with fur, and sequinned gowns - I left this show in the mood to go out on the town!
This collection was by far my favourite so I've added some photos I managed to snap in between gawping at how gorgeous the models and the pieces were.

Next stop was the Exhibition Centre over by Albert Dock to immerse ourselves in the Shopping Halls, where we browsed all the stalls and stopped for some fizz at the Bubble Bar. Brands in the centre included River Island, MissPap and Victoria's Secret, as well as a full range of hair and beauty stands and to finish the day off, there was a runway extravaganza show at the Echo Arena.

I went home feeling so inspired by the fashion and the people who were involved in these events, so I was thrilled to see that the BSC will be back next year! If you're a fashion fanatic like me, I promise this is the place to be.
